Dates 4 Welcome 2 America
The first run of dates for Prince’s “Welcome 2 America” tour were announced Monday (10/27) morning. Purple Rain will fall on New Jersey December 14, 15 & 17 and in New York on December 18 and 29.
Prince And The Return Of Graham Central Station
Prince is hitting the road. His majesty announced the upcoming “Welcome 2 America” tour will kick off on a “Purple day in December,” but he didn’t say where. The announcement was made at a press conference held at the Apollo Theater in Harlem recently.
Funkin’ Video Games
I’m funkin’ pissed off about the new tactic that video games are using for their advertising. While I don’t knock anybody for playing video games, the new ad campaigns for them are deplorable.
Don’t Funkin’ Touch Compared To What
Some songs and movies should simply not be done over. There are too many classics that have been covered or selected for re-makes, that would have been better off left alone. A remake or a cover of a song should bring new life to it, if not give it a new birth.
Funkin’ New Music
Lauryn Hill’s got a new song. Titled “Repercussions,” it’s right in pocket for where Hill fans would want her to be. The groove and lyrics of the track are classic “L Boogie.”
