Blaxploitation soundtracks featured some of the hottest artists of the era such as James Brown, Earth, Wind and Fire, Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway, Isaac Hayes, Gladys Knight and The Pips, Curtis Mayfield, Ohio Players, Diana Ross, Rose Royce, The Staple Singers, Barry White and Bobby Womack, to name a few.
