THIS IS AN “OPEN LETTER” TO MY FAVORITE HIP-HOP PRODUCER DR. DRE.  WARNING: This Blog May Contain Language Not Suitable for Small Children and Is Only for Those Who Really Love the Music of Dr. Dre.  It’s not for the meek or easily offended at the rant of a hip-hop advocate and enthusiast.  That said, it’s simply metaphysically time for new music from Dre.  If you agree with me, I need you to prove it, I need you to tweet, share, e-mail, and get on the phone so this message goes viral.  If you’re not down with that, stop here, this blog’s not for you.

When The Chronic: 2001 dropped, only four states allowed the use of medical marijuana in the United States.  Today, Mary Jane is legal recreationally, decriminalized, legal medicinally (see here: http://medicalmarijuana.procon.org/view.resource.php?resourceID=000881), or a combination of the three — in 25 of America’s United States.  Here’s a map with the break down from http://www.theweedblog.com .

Weed Map

If that ain’t reason enough Dr. Dre should have had another CD, EP, LP… Fuck It, even a new freakin’ single out by now, I don’t what is…  but there isn’t, so I wait… “Still…. Dre”

AN  OPEN LETTER TO DR. DRE — Infused with the Lyrics of his Hit Song “Still D.R.E.”

“Still D.R.E.”
(feat. Snoop Dogg)

Snoop and DreI AIN’T SEEN YOU ROCK A SPOT SINCE THE “CHRONIC 2001 TOUR” OF WHICH I ATTENDED W/ MY LIFE LONG FRIEND TRACY

You hear the bass from the trunk when I’m on the block.  Ladies, they pay homage, but haters say Dre fell off – How nigga My last album was “The Chronic”

THE CHRONIC 2001 THAT IS… 12 YEARS AGO

They want to know if he still got it

[Snoop – singing]

If you ain’t up on thangz

[Dr. Dre]

Dr. Dre is the name, I’m ahead of my game

IN A WORLD WHERE KANYE WEST IS AHEAD OF THE GAME IN RAP OVER MUTHERFUCKIN’ DR. DRE, “SOMETHING SOMETHING JUST AIN’T RIGHT.”  RICK RUBIN LACED YE’S “YEEZUS,” AFTER WEST COMPLETED HIS NEW RELEASE – WHAT!!! I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING THAT IN THE MEANTIME

Still, puffing my leafs, still with the beats

Dre NWAI WISH I COULD PUFF SOME LEAFS TO SOME NEW HOT BEATS, SINCE IT’S ALLOWED IN 25 STATES NOW

Still not loving police (Uh huh) – Still rock my khakis with a cuff and a crease (for sure) – Still got love for the streets, repping 213

“F*CK THE POLICE” WHERE’S THE LOVE FOR THE FANS?  “THE “NI**ERS THAT WAS DOWN FROM DAY ONE”  “WHERE IS THE LOVE”?

Still the beat bangs, still doing my thang

SEEMS LIKE YOUR ONLY THANG IS THE ‘BEATS’ BANGIN’ IN YO’ ‘BEATS’ HEADPHONES WRAPPED ARIUND THE BRAIN OF MOFO’S I SEE ON THE SUBWAY TRAIN

Since I left, ain’t too much changed, still

I BEG TO DIFFER — SINCE YOU LEFT A WHOLE FREAKIN’ LOT HAS CHANGED… DID I MENTION THAT 21 MORE STATES HAVE REGULATED THE USE OF MARIJUANA SINCE THE LAST DR. DRE ALBUM DROPPED?  ISN’T THAT IRONIC, 21 REVERSED IS 12, THE NUMBER OF YEARS IT’S BEEN SINCE YOU DROPPED YOUR LAST ALBUM

[Chorus:]
[Snoop Dogg]
I’m representing for the gangsters all across the world.  Still hitting them corners in them low low’s girl

[Dr. Dre]
Still taking my time to perfect the beat — And I still got love for the streets, it’s the D-R-E [Repeat 2x]

I STILL GOT LOVE FOR YOU DRE, AND I KNOW THAT THERE’S A MULTITUDE OF BEATS THAT MILLIONS WOULD AGREE ARE PERFECTED, IF YOU WOULD ONLY PUT SOMETHING OUT…

Since the last time you heard from me I lost some friends

Dre in Black & WhiteMANY OF US HAVE – WE NEED SOME NEW INSPIRING MUSIC TO ENHANCE OUR FRESH PERSPECTIVE FOR THOSE WE CUT LOOSE AND MUSIC TO UPLIFT US FOR THOSE THAT HAVE BEEN TAKEN – WHAT’S UP DOC?

I stay close to the heat
And even when I was close to defeat, I rose to my feet

AND I WANT YOU TO KEEP ON RISING, BUT CAN WE GET SOME MUSIC THAT’S GONNA GIVE US A RISE.  WHERE’S THE FIGHT AT?  HOW ARE YOU NOT PISSED AT ALL THE SUB PAR SHIT WE BEEN GETTING’ HIT WIT OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS – WHAT UP WIT DAT”

My life is like a soundtrack I wrote to the beat
Treat my rap like Cali weed, I smoke till I sleep

BROTHER YOU BEEN HYBERNATING… WHAT DO YOU THINK WE AIN’T GONNA LOVE IT?  PLEEZ, JUST DROP IT BABY

Wake up in the A.M., compose a beat

I KNOW THERE’S HUNDREDS OF TRACKS IN THE VAULT LACED WITH MCS YOU DONE CAME ACROSS.  THERE’S ENOUGH TRACKS IN YOUR ARSENAL, THAT YOU CAN CALL 6 TO 12 OF THE DOPEST MC’S, AND HAVE THEM DROP SOME NEW SCIENCE ON THOSE GEMS YOU BEEN KEEPING IN THE TRASURE CHEST.  YOU CAN’T TAKE ‘EM WITH YOU – LET ‘EM OUT, I’M FEENIN’

I bring the fire till you’re soaking in your seat
It’s not a fluke, it’s been tried, I’m the troop
.  It’s “Turn Out the Lights” from the World Class Wreckin’ Cru

I FEEL HAVE ALL THE RIGHT IN THE WORLD TO MAKE THIS DEMAND, BECAUSE I BEEN DOWN SINCE THEN, OH YEAH…

World Class VynilWorld Class 2

I’m still at it, After-mathematic

ALTHOUGH THE KENDRICK CD FROM THE HOUSE OF AFTERMATH WAS A FAVORITE FOR ME LAST YEAR, AN AFTERMATH RELEASE, DOES NOT A NEW DR. DRE ALBUM MAKE

In the home of drivebys and ak-matics
Swap meets, sticky green, and bad traffic
I dip through then I get skin, D-R-E

[Chorus]

It ain’t nothing but more hot shit
Another classic CD for y’all to vibe with

WHERE?  WHERE IS THIS CLASSIC CD?  IT DON’T EVEN HAVE TO BE “THE DETOX” ALBUM.  WE CAN ALL JUST PRETEND THAT WAS A CONCEPT AND MOVE ON, JUST DROP SOME NEW SHIT.

Whether you’re cooling on a corner with your fly bitch

I DONE WENT FROM THE CORNER, TO THE WHIP, TO THE CONDO, TO A NEW CHICK N****… WHAT, AND “STILL”…

Laid back in the shack, play this track

[Chorus]

NO — “I’M REPRESENTING FOR THE GANGSTERS ALL ACROSS THE WORLD.”  SENDING THIS OPEN LETTER AS A MESSAGE THAT YOU’RE VIOLATING AN UNSPOKEN CODE THAT PUTS YOU IN A POSITION TO SHOW AND PROVE.  GET INTO THE GROOVE AND DROP SOME FUCKIN’ NEW TUNES.  I’M THE GANGSTER OF MUSIC THAT’S “STILL” TELLING YOU IT’S DUE, AND I KNOW YOU DONE HEARD IT FROM YO’ CREW.  I AIN’T GOT TO SCHOOL YOU, YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO…

[Dr. Dre]  I’ll break your neck, damn near put your face in your lap,
Niggas try to be the king but the ace is back

WHERE’S THE KING AT?  I’M MORE THAN READY FOR THAT ACE IN THE HOLE?

[Snoop – singing]

Still gonna get mine regardless

GET YOURS DRE, GET IT – CAN WE JUST GET A LITTLE LOVE, 12 YEARS MAN

[Snoop]
Right back up in ya muthfuckin ass

I never thought about doing  music until i realised im the future of australian music ive been doing underground scene since i was sixteen ive preformed all my life natarual at anything i put my mind to. Tradional dancing from age six to thirteen at schools around my district .Age sixteen I got pulled up on stage by Australian Indigenous group called shakaya performing at the red ochre festival Dubbo 2007 i done freestyle of the top of my head the crowd went wild. Past couple years ive been writing two books one about my life and one just filled with poetry i was to scared to show anyone cause some poems didnt rhyme until i read “THE ROSE THAT GREW FROM CONCRETE”  i was no longer shy showing my poems cause some  say tha same things in that book freaky when its the only ever book i ever read. My history since 16 ive been writing free expression poetry, freesyle rap, lyrical rap, country songs, rnb soulful melody songs and more i can dance sing rap im recording my own music at the momemt. I would love to study music to the bone for i believe i have the gift of rhythum and beat i cant help that i feel music dont hear it clap sticks and didgeridoo was my peoples only instruments and we perfected it and it runs in my blood  curruntly studying music production at jmc academy just to have back certificates to not have all my eggs in one basket.
