Here is a video that quickly summaries all of the accomplishments of President Barack Obama during his first term.
Barack Obama for Re-election

The economy is slowly recovering from the 2008 meltdown, and the country could suffer another recession if the wrong policies take hold. The United States is embroiled in unstable regions that could easily explode into full-blown disaster. An ideological assault from the right has started to undermine the vital health reform law passed in 2010. Those forces are eroding women’s access to health care, and their right to control their lives. Nearly 50 years after passage of the Civil Rights Act, all Americans’ rights are cheapened by the right wing’s determination to deny marriage benefits to a selected group of us. Astonishingly, even the very right to vote is being challenged.
That is the context for the Nov. 6 election, and as stark as it is, the choice is just as clear.
In the epic battle that was the third presidential debate, focussed on foreign policy, President Barack Obama put an embarassing beat down on his opponent, 70’s playroom style!
A couple of months ago, the crew from the Collector’s Quest website became the first people to actually visit the offices of The Museum Of UnCut Funk, interview me and see our collection.
One of the things that I love about the Obama White House is how they have consistently honored and showcased Black culture.
President Barack Obama actually has a great sense of humor and comedic timing. In other words, he’s got jokes!
“The Motown Sound: In Performance at the White House” is a PBS music special that was taped in the East Room of the White House. President and Mrs. Obama hosted the event on Thursday, February 24, 2011 in celebration of Black History Month and the legacy of Motown.
You should know better than to challenge President Obama to a game of anything, even if it is only a game of H-O-R-S-E. He did not become President of the free world by losing…
Wow, what a difference two weeks makes. I did not dump on the President after the first debate, like the rest of the world did. BUT, I must admit that I prefer the man who came out in the second debate swinging on the first question, kept spanking his opponent for 90 minutes, went in for the uncontested 47% death blow at the very end, and dropped the mic on the stage on the way out. That is the man that I voted for and will get my support for four more years. To continue with my Ali analogies, Barack is a “Baaad man”.
So now it is the weekend after the first debate and let’s recap where we are…Obama supporters have come down off of the ceiling and screwed their heads back on after their collective post debate meltdown. I have already provided my thinking, psuedo-conspiracy theory, on Barack’s strategy during the debate (see my post on The First Obama Vs. Romney Debate). Let me summarize…ROPE-A-DOPE. Oh yee of little faith…
Wow! Forget the debates. Let’s just run this video on national TV and call it a day. I think this is one of the clearest articulations AND visualizations of President Obama’s definition of the role of government that I have ever seen, complete with cool graphics for the attention challenged. Lucas Gray, animator of The Simpsons and Family Guy, and his talented crew have done what they do best, animating the President’s speech given at the Associated Press Luncheon in April. The full transcript of this speech is below. WATCH AND SHARE!!!
Here is the full video of the first Presidential debate between President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, held October 3, 2012. I think that it was Obama’s strategy to rope-a-dope and not give Romney an opening to explain away (e.g. LIE, DENY, EVADE, SHAPE-SHIFT) all of his offensive and out of touch comments, gaffes and policy positions to millions of people with so much time left on the clock before the election. Now Republican money stays invested behind the top of the ticket, does not get diverted to the down ticket races. See where I am going with this…
Here is a fun video supporting the Obama re-election effort from Nathan Barnatt, the LA dancing fool.
According to an article posted in The New Yorker by Jack Hitt, the following timeline reflects the conservative historical view from the inception of the republic to today. Not the way I remember the facts, but an interesting alternative theory of U.S. history…Explains quite a bit…
Not to be outdone by Randy Newman’s satire, Samuel L. Jackson delivers a serious wake up call to the electorate on behalf of our Funky President, Barack Obama.
