The Day I Met James Bond: Roger & Me

The Day I Met James Bond: Roger & Me

Last week Roger Moore passed away. Admittedly not my favorite “James Bond,” he gets nothing but props for holding down the franchise, and taking on the role more than any other actor. Moore himself, expressed that Daniel Craig is the “Best Bond,” in his opinion. I’ve enjoyed Craig’s performances as well. His delivery in “Casino Royale” solidified the re-boot of the franchise and I think “Skyfall” is the best Bond feature of all.

Bogus Ticketing in Back Bay Boston

Bogus Ticketing in Back Bay Boston

Any given car owner that’s ever paid attention to law enforcement practices, knows that there’s a spike in tickets issued by police, during holiday season. This is a nationwide practice. Any precinct across these 50 states would deny it, but practically any given person’s 3 to 6 degrees of separation of knowing a cop, confirms it.

The Privileged, The Pompous, Derailed and Delusional (PPDD)

My initial idea for this piece was to describe those in its title. I became part of a stream that featured them instead, enabling us to read their thoughts, as they scribed their ideas and beliefs themselves. From a friend’s Facebook page who realized she’s going to have to re-evaluate some friends…

blink-182, SOJA, Gallant and Lukas Graham for Your GRAMMY Consideration

Blink-182, Gallant, Lukas Graham, Mike Posner, PartyNextDoor and SOJA are all among the Grammy Award nominees for 2017.  Recently I did an article on the fact that Blink has never won a Grammy.  The veterans in music among those mentioned, it’s their first time among Grammy nominees, I’m hoping their CD “California” is their “Golden Ticket” for Best Rock Album.  http://museumofuncutfunk.com/2016/10/03/didnt-blink-182-win-a-grammy-a-musical-yorn/

BIG PHARMA ADS – THE NEW CIGARETTE SPOTS: Funked Up Pharmacists Pt. 2

BIG PHARMA ADS – THE NEW CIGARETTE SPOTS: Funked Up Pharmacists Pt. 2

Did you know pharmaceutical ads are illegal in other countries?  Before the Affordable Care Act aka “ObamaCare,”  health insurance was unattainable to millions in the U.S., but has been free in every other country for years.  Commercials about drugs and new pills; the substitution of NARCAN as opposed to a junkie weening off heroin and the constant bombardment of remedies for erectile disfunction is out of control.

TWO FUNKY DIVAS: DREEZY & ADELE

TWO FUNKY DIVAS: DREEZY & ADELE

Although Adele is primarily noted for her voice, it’s all about the lyrics and music, that make a song. As popular as she is today, my love for her has grown, since she initially took the world stage.  Dreezy has taken the world of music by storm and has been hailed as the “Princess of Chicago Rap.”  Her album “No Hard Feelings” dropped this past summer, and she’s also featured on Aluna George’s track “Mean What I Mean,” from his latest, “I Remember.”
