Alicia Keys will be the first entertainer to perform three times at the Super Bowl.  The singer is doing the National Anthem at the game this year on February 3rd in New Orleans.

This past June marked the third anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death.  As his birthday approaches I’m reminded that I still miss him.  He wasn’t a relative, but I grew up with him throughout my life.  I don’t believe you ever stop missing the ones you love, you just learn to live with it.

Sparkle, the remake of the 1976 film starring Jordin Sparks and Whitney Houston, will be novelized by Simon & Schuster and adapted for the Broadway stage with executive producer Howard Rosenman, the Hollywood Reporter confirms.

It’s official, Andre 3000 of OutKast, real name Andre Benjamin has been cast to portray Jimi Hendrix in the biopic “All Is By My Side.”  Benjamin’s name was mentioned a few years ago about taking on the role, but rumors died after about a month or so.  “All Is By My Side” will be set in the 1960s just before the release of Jimi’s debut album “Are You Experienced.”

I have been meaning to post the trailer for Whitney’s movie Sparkle, along with the poster. I was a little slow on this. So when Whitney’s last song Celebrate, recorded for the movie soundtrack, was released earlier today, I decided to post everything at once. I have also included a couple of interviews on the film.
