Camila Cabello, Bebe Rexha and Dua Lipa, are just a few female talents that had breakthrough success, over the past year. I speak of these three in particular, because whenever I heard their music prior to knowing who they were, I was like I need to know these artists! A lot like in the realm of Halsey and SZA last year.

In the midst of societal ills and personal challenges I look to family and music for solace. Holy Moly! There are a few things that I am remiss about discovering at this juncture and some new releases and tunes forthcoming that I’m very excited to hear. Music serves as therapy for me, and is and will always be, the universal language that conjoins the hearts and minds of humanity.

Alexander McQueen was one of the FUNKIEST designers to ever live. If there was a FUNK Diva on the scene today, she’d have to wear McQueen. His style is second to none and his vision intergalactic! Almost 100 of his designs are on display through July 31st at the MET in New York City – wherever you are, it’s worth the trip.
