Camila Cabello, Bebe Rexha and Dua Lipa, are just a few female talents that had breakthrough success, over the past year. I speak of these three in particular, because whenever I heard their music prior to knowing who they were, I was like I need to know these artists! Morgan Freeman stars in a remake of “Ben-Hur.” It hit theaters last week and delivers the story in half the time of the original that starred Charlton Heston. Freeman takes on the role of “Ilderim,” a character that wasn’t in the original version, although I imagine there was one that was equivalent to it.
Roger Ortega, a.k.a. RO, has hit “The Lottery”! It wasn’t by way of a “Lottery” ticket though, but through his choices to relish in his fortune, and appreciating the benefits that life has afforded him. Ortega started his first group, Slo Motion, at the age of 14. These days he’s rollin’ solo, as an artist, with the undying support of his loving family.

Some television shows celebrate their 200th episode. Generally T-V programs will review and/ or reflect on shows past, when celebrating the 200th show. That’s very appropriate for television, and I suppose I could touch on a few of my favorite blogs over the past five years, but I believe speaking on public figures that are anti-FUNK or just plain FUNKED UP may be more intriguing.
The first time I went to an ice bar was in Alaska at an Ice Hotel! Now there’s one in New York called Minus-5 (degrees). Located at the Hilton hotel in midtown, it opened TODAY! Smart move in the midst of a heat wave. The establishment has three existing previous locations in the U.S., two in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Mandalay Bay and Monte Carlo Hotel and Casinos and one in Minneapolis.
