Raymond Burr was THE Robert Ironside. I loved that show. It remains to be seen if this role can be resurrected in an interesting way. But I must admit that I am intrigued by Blair Underwood taking it on.

Hosted by the venue’s Clifton Pierce, CBS FM’s Joe Causi and Denny Terrio of “Dance Fever” were the MCs, where France Joli, Tavares, The Trammps and CHIC performed. Led by founding member Nile Rodgers on guitar, CHIC brought the FUNK!
Good Times was a Norman Lear-produced Sit Com that ran on CBS from 1974-1979. The show was a of Lear’s earlier comedy Maude (Itself a spinoff of All In The Family). The show followed the lives of the Evans family, a poor Black family living in the high-rise projects of Chicago.
