The For The Love Of Money: Blacks On U.S. Currency panel exhibition traveled to The Money Museum locations at The Federal Reserve Bank in Denver, Colorado and Kansas City, Missouri.

Denver, Colorado – January 15 – February 8, 2018 – 2,008 people saw the exhibition
Kansas City, Missouri – February 19 – March 15, 2018 – 2,869 people saw the exhibition
Results:
- For The Love Of Money: Blacks On U.S. Currency is the first temporary exhibition ever displayed by the Money Museum
- Visitors were “shocked and amazed,” and “had no idea” that so many Black people had been honored on U.S. currency
- Visitors were also very excited to see something “new and different”
- Community partners were “absolutely thrilled and excited” to see the museum present the exhibition
- Provided a nice tie-in with and transition from the historic coins in their museum collection
- Visitors included families, school field trips / students, adults, community leaders, business leaders
- Museum visitors participated in a scavenger hunt to increase engagement with the exhibition
- Museum employees participated in the scavenger hunt as a part of their diversity and inclusion efforts for Black History Month
