One of the greatest compliments I ever got as a journalist, was from Chaka Khan. She told me, that my interview with her, was “Vivid and Real.”
That moment was a definite highlight as a writer for me, as Chaka is unquestionably one of my all time favorite female singers. It was one of many confirmations for me, that choosing to pursue a career in the business of music, was the right path. 25 years later, I hope any and all that listen to this interview, take away something that you may not have known about Chaka, until now.
