It’s been almost a year since my blog entry on the rivalry between Nicki Minaj and Lil’ Kim.  Just when you thought it was over, Nicki’s back with a new track called “Stupid Hoe.”

If there’s any question of weather or not the opening line is directed at Lil’ Kim, the bridge will leave no doubts in anyone’s mind that are familiar with the feud between the two.  Directed by award winning long-time hip-hop video visionary Hype Williams, the song opens saying: “I get it crackin’ like a bad back, bitch talkin’ like the Queen when she lookin’ like a lab rat. I’m Angelina, you Jennifer, c’mon bitch you see where Brad at.”  The clip is a visual escapade of vibrant colors with Minaj adorned in various outfits, portraying eye-popping characters and transforming from a cheetah into her self inside a yellow cage.

Once the song hits the bridge, Nicki says: “Stupid hoes is my enemy, stupid hoes is so wack, stupid hoe should have befriended me, then she could have probably came back.”  The tune is the second buzz track from Minaj’s forthcoming release “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.”  The first song from the CD was titled “Roman in Moscow”, which features a guest appearance by Eminem.  Minaj introduced the song on New Year’s Eve via a live performance on Dick Clark’s annual show.  Originally scheduled to hit the streets on Valentine’s Day, the project has been pushed back to April 3rd, but Minaj says “Have no fear — tons of surprises before then.”  Roman Zolanski is Nicki’s alter ego.  Her DVD, Nicki Minaj: Roman’s Revenge, is a collection of videos featuring Minaj on her road to success.

Nicki’s debut CD “Pink Friday” is now platinum, and the starlet has already scored her first feature film too.  She’ll make her debut on the silver screen as the voice of “Steffie” in the animated feature “Ice Age 4: Continental Drift.”  Ice Age 4 also stars Jennifer Lopez as “Shira” with returning characters voiced by Queen Latifah, Keke Palmer, Sean William Scott, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary and Ray Romano.  For the love of FUNK and Hip-Hop…
