This is the first time in New York Comic Con history that a booth on the main floor of the convention housed a group of independent and mainstream Black Artists, Gamers, Filmmakers, Animators and Writers.
Tim fielder of Diesel Funk Studios founded AFROFUTUREFEST. This event showcased the work and allowed content creators to meet fans, conduct interviews and celebrate with all of love fantasy, sci-fi, horror, superheroes and pop culture.
The Museum Of UnCut Funk had the privilege of participating as a sponsor of AFROFUTUREFEST. We introduced our new line of licensed products featuring comic properties from the 1950s – 1970s.
