Most people who know me know that I love to cook. But the one thing I have trouble making is Mac and Cheese…don’t know why??? So to get some inspiration I tried S’MAC in New York City.
I was a little overwhelmed by so many choices, so I picked the Masala S’MAC.
A little taste of southern comfort infused with Indian spices. The Masala was a bit spicy, but the dish was creamy and full of comfort. My partner in food crime had the All American, which was a blend of American and Cheddar cheeses.
S’MAC offers four sizes you can choose from…the nosh: $7.25, Major Munch: $10.75, Mongo: $19.00 and Partay!: $47.00. I got the nosh and it was enough for two people.
If you like Mac and Cheese try S’MAC. S’MAC (short for Sarita’s Macaroni & Cheese) is located in the heart of Manhattan’s East Village.
S’MAC was a concept born at the Peanut Butter Co. in New York’s Greenwich Village (what better venue for inspiration than another comfort food joint!). It was created by husband & wife team, Sarita & Caesar Ekya.
