Katz’s Deli is a New York Institution.
Katz’s Delicatessen is one of the few New York Jewish Delis where you can get a slamming Pastrami on Rye, Chopped Liver, melt in your mouth Corn Beef, Pickles and some of the best Matzo Ball Soup around. There is so much to choose from. I try to stop in at least twice a year to indulge at one of my favorite New York spots. They are open until 2:45 am on Thursdays and the joint is ALWAYS packed. If you have friends or family coming into town this is the place to take them for some good eats. A sandwich and a can of good old school cream soda is $17 and it’s worth every penny. But bring cash, because Katz’s doesn’t take plastic.
